Arts Education Month: new sticker designs!

We are sharing voices from the 2025-2026 Washington Youth Arts Leadership (WAYAL) cohort for Arts Education Month. Learn more about the WAYAL program. 2025-2026 WAYAL cohort members Lucy Woods and Elliot Pixie-Plott designed new stickers for ArtsWA to give away at public events.

A student at North Central High School in Spokane, Lucy Woods is a multimedia artist who focuses on themes of social justice and arts advocacy. They use a variety of mediums and love to use nature and personal experiences as inspiration for their art.

The thumbprint design emphasizes how the Arts provide an avenue for individuals to express their unique identities.

The record design pays homage to Washington’s history as a cultural arts hub specifically in the area of music.

A student at Liberty High School, Elliot Pixie-Plott is an artist in the Methow Valley. He wanted his sticker to capture a little bit of the heart of art in Washington state.
