Applications for Type 3 Liquor Package Agencies requested
SALT LAKE CITY, UT – The State of Utah and the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services (DABS) seek applications to operate a Type 3 Liquor Package Agency in Castle Dale, Utah.
Liquor package agencies are privately run liquor outlets, under contract with the State of Utah.
Those interested in applying must complete a package agency application in accordance with Utah Code Section 32B-2-602 and Utah Administrative Rule R82-2-304 and submit a nonrefundable $125 application fee.

Applications must be submitted through the DABS online Licensing & Permitting System by August 10, 2024. The Alcoholic Beverage Services Commission will evaluate complete applications and determine to which applicant the package agency contract will be awarded by considering the factors described in Utah Code Section 32B-2-603 and Utah Administrative Rule R82-2-305 at its August commission meeting.
