SURS Board Votes on Manager Decisions
The State Universities Retirement System (SURS) Board of Trustees, during their meetings March 4, 5 and 6, voted to allocate $400 million to AQR for their Alternative Trends/Helix strategy to fund the Crisis Risk Offset program, pending successful contract and fee negotiations.
As part of a reallocation of funds due to the most recent asset allocation study, SURS board voted to terminate Versor Investments as an Alternative Risk Premia/Diversifying Strategies Manager and EARNEST Partners as a Global Equity Manager.
In other business:
- The Board of Trustees reviewed and approved the Defined Contribution Investment Policy.
- The Board approved the revised Internal Audit Plan for Fiscal Year 2026 and the Audit Plan for Fiscal Year 2027.
