Explore the Miami-Dade Historic Resource Guide
The Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources’ Office of Historic Preservation (OHP) has unveiled the new Miami-Dade Historic Resource Guide, a dynamic tool designed to enhance public access to the county’s rich historic heritage. This comprehensive guide offers a detailed listing of all locally designated historic resources, along with clear, accessible information about how historic preservation operates within the county. It serves as a valuable resource for residents, researchers and preservation advocates alike.
A series of four ArcGIS StoryMaps were also produced as digital narratives that explore and showcase a curated sampling of historic sites, bringing to life the diverse stories embedded in Miami-Dade County’s cultural legacy.
