Park Station rendering

Miami Worldcenter Station, formerly the Park West Metromover Station, has reopened to the public, after major improvements. Metromover passengers now have access to the completely renovated station adjacent to Miami Worldcenter, a world-class urban destination in Downtown Miami, that led and paid for the modernization effort.

The reopening of the Miami Worldcenter Metromover Station marks a major milestone in our mission to create a more connected, accessible, and vibrant Miami-Dade Transit system.

Among the most notable improvements is the installation of brighter, energy-efficient lighting throughout the station and surrounding areas - creating a safer, more welcoming environment, especially during evening hours.

Additional station upgrades include:

  • Modern design: New platform tiles with contemporary finishes for a sleek, updated look
  • Improved access: Renovated entrance canopy and refurbished escalator to enhance safety and passenger flow
  • Comfortable seating: New, modern platform seating for an improved user experience
  • Fresh feel: Restored concrete walls and ceilings, sealed and repainted for a clean, polished finish

With seamless access to Miami-Dade Transit’s free Metromover system for both visitors and tenants, Miami Worldcenter is emerging as a model Transit-Oriented Community—offering a dynamic mix of entertainment, retail, residential, and commercial spaces within a walkable, green, and transit-connected urban core.
