Short-Term Rental Ordinance Meeting Dates Announced

The Park County Development Services team is hosting two evening community meetings to discuss and capture feedback on the DRAFT revised Short-Term Rental Ordinance prior to being considered for adoption. These meetings will be hosted via Zoom, though interested constituents are welcome to attend in-person at the county office building located at 856 Castello Avenue in Fairplay.
The first meeting will take place on Monday, April 20 at 6:30pm and will be primarily for those with properties located north and east of Kenosha Pass.
The second meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 23 at 6:30pm and will be mainly regarding properties located south and west of Kenosha Pass.
***Please note that all are welcome to join either or both meetings regardless of property location.***
Additionally, the Board of County Commissioners are scheduled to hear the second read-through of the revised DRAFT ordinance on Tuesday, April 21 at 1pm, with the final discussion and consideration of adoption of the ordinance to take place on Tuesday, May 5 at 1pm.
We encourage all interested stakeholders to email comments and feedback to county.administration@parkcountyco.gov where they will be incorporated into the public record and ordinance review proceedings.
