When used in tandem, the i5 Electronic Records Management and i5 Physical Records Management solutions, FileTrail for SharePoint, have been evaluated as meeting the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) requirements established for the South Australian Government.
The South Australian Government amended its approach to EDRMS in August 2009 by disbanding its Panel of Products arrangement and allowing alternate products to be procured. As of 1st August 2009, the South Australian Government requires that all EDRMS procured after this date is required to meet the State Records minimum compliance requirements in addition to the agency's own business requirements.
In January of this year, following a rigorous evaluation and testing process, the i5 Records Management Software for Microsoft SharePoint, including FileTrail for SharePoint, was officially certified as meeting all functional and technical requirements as an 'off-the-shelf' solution without significant customisation.

-is compliant with all five specifications of VERS Version 2
-meets 100% of the functional and technical requirements, as an 'off-the-shelf' solution without significant customisation
-captures and maintains all of the mandatory recordkeeping metadata elements, in accordance with SARKMS, as a permanent record
