Update: Alma Meat Processor Resumes Operations
The Missouri Department of Agriculture's Meat and Poultry Inspection Program announced today that state inspection has resumed at Alma Meats. The business has addressed violations identified in January of this year.
As a state-inspected facility harvesting livestock, Alma Meats will have an inspector present each day during processing. Facilities processing meat under state inspection have the opportunity to offer those products for retail sale within Missouri.
