Key Benefits of Operating in Oklahoma’s Aerospace & Defense Sector

“The support from the State of Oklahoma has been incredible,” noted CTS President Johnny “Bump” Grant. “The Quality Jobs incentive program has been great. It’s helped us in many different ways. Mainly it has allowed us to invest in our employees, whether it be payroll, improving the facilities, or adding different equipment so that the work is done better and more efficiently. But it’s all been invested back into the business. 2023 was our best year yet–and 2024 beat that by 37%, with a 10% increase in employees. We’re headed in the right direction, and we’re planning for the future,” said Grant.

Advice for Aerospace & Defense Companies Considering Oklahoma

Along with a supportive business environment for aero and defense companies, Grant is quick to praise the quality of the workforce. “In Oklahoma, our motto is, ‘Labor Conquers All.’ We prove that is true every day,” he said. “Our people show up to work, they work hard, they get it done, they take pride in it – and it’s quality work at the end of the day.”
