Following a successful 2010 pilot program, Beaverton developed Solar Beaverton in March 2011 through a partnership with Livelight Energy. The Solar Beaverton program simplifies the process of installing solar panels, allowing residents to utilize state and federal financial incentives, while expediting the solar permitting processes.
