As with the other sets in the Gold Series, the bridge playing cards come with a deluxe plastic case. The front of the card features a white background with black symbols and an ivory box surrounding the pips, or suit symbols, in the center. What makes the Saraswati most unique from the Aldrava, Illuminura and Script sets is the back design, which is gold and white. Made of the same fine quality materials, it differs significantly from the black-and-red, black-and-gold and black-and-white back designs on the other Gold Series bridge decks.
Having a variety of colors and background designs available gives players more options when choosing a single deck, and helps card tournament organizers keep track of multiple decks. As bridge cards are one-quarter inch narrower than standard poker-type playing cards, many people find these easier to hold while playing most card games.
