U.S. Embassy Jerusalem held a tree planting ceremony this evening to commemorate the one year anniversary of the October 7th attacks. In the ceremony - attended by representatives of the Israeli government, first responders and members of the Embassy community - Ambassador Jack Lew and Deputy Chief of Mission Stephanie L. Hallett planted a sapling brought from Kibbutz Nir Oz.
