Opinion | You’ve got my vote, your honor
You can argue about whether it’s a good idea for the general public to elect state supreme court justices. There’s a strong argument that judges ought to be able to make decisions without worrying about what is popular, or what is likely to endanger their odds of winning another term. What is legally and constitutionally correct is not always popular.
