Administrative Review Tribunal (Miscellaneous Measures) Bill 2024
AUSTRALIA, September 11 - On 12 September 2024, the Senate referred the Administrative Review Tribunal (Miscellaneous Measures) Bill 2024 to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee, for inquiry and report by 31 October 2024.
This bill is part of a package of legislation to establish a new federal administrative review body, the Administrative Review Tribunal. The bill would amend 52 Commonwealth Acts to update references to the old body, the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, and to make technical amendments.
The submissions closing date is 27 September 2024.
