Western Area Power Administration published Establishing an In-House Wind Maintenance System, an updated guidebook funded by the U.S. Department of Energy's Wind Powering America initiative that supports utilities with wind generation in developing operations and maintenance strategies. The Utility Wind Integration Group, American Wind Energy Association, American Public Power Association, and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association co-sponsored the project. The guidebook includes significant contributions from utilities and other stakeholders around the country.
