Trenton – Senator Angela V. McKnight issued the following statement in support of the FY 2025 State Budget:

“Today, we made good on our commitment to make New Jersey the best state to live in for all generations of the family. This comprehensive budget addresses the unique needs of our children, parents, grandparents, and everyone in between, and looks towards our future.

“We expanded public pre-K programs and fully funded public schools. Support for affordable housing, pathways to homeownership, and new revenue for NJ Transit will improve the lives of working families in urban areas like Hudson County.

“The lowering of prescription drug costs will save our oldest residents money that they can use for other essential expenses to enhance their quality of life.

“I am gratified by our progress, but the work is far from over. Let’s continue to deliver for all of the diverse people and communities that call New Jersey home.”

Senator Angela V. McKnight represents Legislative District 31 (Hudson).
