The Rating Scale

The rating scale used by UNO is a five (5)-point grading system providing descriptions that are clear to understand.

Performance Indicators

There are eight questions targeting actual performance indicators. These performance indicators are:

  1. Job Knowledge
  2. Quality of Work
  3. Problem-Solving
  4. Productivity
  5. Interpersonal Skills
  6. Customer Service
  7. Accountability and Attendance
  8. Inclusion and Diversity

Overall Rating

The Overall Ratings Field auto-calculates a performance average of all eight questions providing for an exact total summation.

For Supervisors

The Supervisor Section (section only for those who manage others) allows for an evaluation of an employee’s management skills.

Additional Sections

There are other Sections for documenting Essential Job Duties, Self-Development, and Noteworthy Accomplishments an employee engaged in throughout the performance period.
