We are deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty The Queen. The Comptroller & Auditor General, Board members and staff of the National Audit Office send their condolences to the Royal Family.

We have lowered the flag on our headquarters in London to half-mast.

As a public body, we will be following Government guidance during the period of National Mourning. Normal Parliamentary business has been suspended so we will not be laying reports or certified accounts until Parliament reconvenes. We will be observing the State Funeral on 19th September and our offices will be closed on that day. Other business is continuing as usual.
