Now in its 60th year, the CICA Corporate awards are open to TSX and Venture issuers as of March 31, 2011, and to federal and provincial crown corporations. In addition to CICA, judging groups for the 2011 awards included the Canadian Investor Relations Institute, the Toronto Chartered Financial Analysts Society and the International Institute for Sustainable Development.

The purpose of the prestigious Corporate Reporting Awards is to recognize the best corporate reporting models in Canada, strengthen corporate reporting in Canada and recognize leaders in the areas of financial reporting, electronic disclosure, corporate governance disclosure and sustainable development reporting.
