REMA Announces 5 Year Renewable Energy Pledge
The Renewable Energy Markets Association (REMA) announced the launch of a national 5 Year Renewable Energy Pledge. The program recognizes organizations that make a long-term commitment to voluntarily purchase renewable energy for at least the next five years, through 2017. The City of Austin (TX), Southern Oregon University, the Bank of Georgetown (DC & MD), Stevens Pass Resort (WA), Diamond Packaging, and Sandy Alexander are the first organizations to sign the renewable energy pledge.
