The fundraiser will start on Oct 30, 2011 and continue through Nov. 13, 2011. The Sapphire dance ensemble, fourteen girls, and their parents will be selling jewelry online to raise funds for their travel expenses to the national dance championship where the group will compete and attend dance workshops. We are trying to raise $1200.00 for each dancer. The parents involved will be sending fundraiser emails to all their friends and family to raise money for the competition. The Sapphire ensemble has been working together for approximately 5 years to reach this level of dance. Qualifying with placement at the Showstopper Regional Competition in Tacoma, Wa. places the Sapphires at the national level.
