In this position, Mitchell will work closely with Information Technology industry leaders, government Executives, and the Trans-Tel executive management team to help guide Trans-Tel's technology strategy and keep it agile and aligned with industry needs.

Mitchell brings more than 25 years of combined business, engineering and information technology experience, most recently serving as the Air force Cyber Command's Senior Duty Officer and Chief of Mission Systems Division. He has served with the USAF and defense contractors in multiple IT and cyber security related programs within the operational and intelligence communities. Additionally, he was instrumental in advancing major innovations in enterprise system management, cyber security, operations center consolidation, and data center design.

As the new CIO/CTO, I'll investigate innovative ways to improve Trans-Tel support and help our current and future clients optimize technologies to their advantage. Mitchell has a bachelor's degree in business engineering from Texas A&M Kingsville, a BBA in information systems from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a master's degree in information systems from Lesley University.
