Crystal Chappell reprises her groundbreaking role for season 3 on Nov. 23

Two-time Emmy(R) Award winner Crystal Chappell and Open Book Productions are taking their critically acclaimed Web Series - Venice The Series and streaming Season 1, in its entirety, for the first time on the Venice You Tube channel for a limited release from October 21st through October 23rd.

Venice received a 2011 Daytime Emmy(R) for Outstanding Special Class Format. Heralded as one of the most innovative online soap series, Venice, focuses on the life of Gina Brogno, (Chappell), who is a single, gay, self-made interior designer - living and working in Venice Beach, California. The show follows Gina and her various love interests and friends, particularly Ani Martin, played by Jessica Leccia, as well as brother Owen, her father The Colonel and a myriad of other characters that make up Gina's network of relationships. The storyline offers the best of traditional soap romance, love stories, tragic events, and hairpin turns. But it is done in a new, savvy and edgy format with unique character development, diversity and tantalizing plots.

Creator and Executive Producer, Crystal Chappell, has a stellar cast of well-known daytime actors including (Jessica Leccia, Nadia Bjorlin, Hillary B. Smith, Lesli Kay, Gina Tognoni, Galen Gering, Peter Reckell, Shawn Christian, Jordan Clarke, Michael Sabatino, Tina Sloan, Liz Keifer and Eric Martsolf), along with (Michelle Carter, Harrison White, Anita Crisinel, Aaron Hartzler and Adrienne Wilkinson) and "Glee" star (Dot Jones) who bring to life these colorful characters and stories.
On the heels of this limited release, "Venice The Series," will launch season 3 of this record-breaking web series on November 23, 2011.

Venice was born out of the overwhelming response to Crystal Chappell's role as Olivia Spencer on CBS-TV's "Guiding Light." This groundbreaking love story involving Olivia (Chappell) and Natalia (Leccia) was dubbed "Otalia." In her embrace of the overwhelming fan attention that came out of "Otalia,"Chappell created Venice so she could continue to tell real stories and focus on a diversity of characters.
