UZBEKISTAN, January 8 - Khilola Umarova: “International trainings to be organized for the participants of the Teachers Olympiad”

Tashkent hosted the award ceremony of winners of the Teachers Olympiad organized by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

The Olympiad was held among teachers – winners of regional stages in such subjects as mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.

The newly elected Minister of Preschool and School Education Khilola Umarova spoke at the solemn event on the occasion of awarding the best teachers.

168 teachers took part in the republican stage of the Olympiad, which was held in secondary school No. 118 of the capital. The winners, who were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes, were determined by the jury.

Following the event, Ms. Khilola Umarova instructed to organize workshops and trainings with foreign specialists in the Presidential and specialized schools in the system of the Agency of Presidential Educational Institutions. These trainings will be aimed at preparing students for international Olympiads. This initiative was fully supported by the participants of the event.
