An official welcoming ceremony takes place for the President of Uzbekistan
UZBEKISTAN, November 21 - On November 22, a welcoming ceremony took place for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev who is paying an official visit to the French Republic, in the Paris Veterans’ Homes.
The soldiers of the Republican Guard of France lined up on the square in honor of the distinguished guest. A military orchestra performed the national anthems of the two countries. The ceremony concluded with a solemn march of the Guard of Honor.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade, Economic Attractiveness and French Nationals Abroad Olivier Becht bypassed the Guard of Honor and greeted the members of official delegations.
After the ceremony, the Uzbekistan delegation left for the Elysee Palace, the residence of the President of France, where top-level bilateral talks will take place.
