President of the People’s Republic of China arrives in Samarkand
UZBEKISTAN, September 14 - On September 14, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit.
The President of Uzbekistan met the Leader of China at Samarkand International Airport.
National songs and dances were performed.
The main events of the visit are scheduled for September 15. High-level bilateral talks will take place on the same day.
As previously reported, on September 16, the President of China will take part in a regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
