SUMMARY OF CRASH: On September 13, 2022 at approximately 1557 hours, Troopers from the Williston Barracks responded to the area of I-89 south near mile marker 103.2 for a report of a single vehicle roll over. Upon arriving on scene, Troopers located a 2012 Toyota Rav4 on its side in the median. The operator of the vehicle, Timothy Arthur (35) of Winooski, VT sustained only minor injuries as a result of the roll over and was transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center for treatment. The weather at the time of the crash was heavy rain that led to an accumulation of water on the road surface. This caused the vehicle to hydroplane and the operator subsequently lost control. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled into the median.

The interstate was reduced down to one lane while the vehicle was removed from the roadway. 

The Vermont State Police was assisted on scene by the Milton Police Department, Milton Fire Department, and Milton Rescue.
