She was the first Black woman judge in Northern California — and she has a message about the future of her profession
“So many people end up coming into trial courts in this country and do not understand the system or what it is judges do,” said Retired Judge DaLoris Cordell. “I wrote this book (primarily) to energize people to make the system better.”
