Barrasso Votes to Lower Prices at the Pump
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), ranking member of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources (ENR), issued the following statement after voting in support of Senator Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) amendment to lower prices at the pump:
“Families face a crisis every time they fill up their gas tanks. Democrats’ $12 billion tax at the gas pump will send prices even higher, hitting the wallets of working families when they can least afford it. Democrats are out-of-touch with the pain every American is feeling.”
