Harju Elekter to further expand in Lithuania

Today, with symbolic groundbreaking event, Harju Elekter UAB is starting STEP4 factory expansion in Panevezys

Harju Elekter UAB, the Lithuanian subsidiary of AS Harju Elekter, investing additional 6 mEUR and will create additional 100 new workplaces. Construction works will be performed by contractor „Kaminta“ and will be finished in March 2021. After the STEP4 factory expansion, the office and manufacturing area will double from the current 8,765 m2 to 16,761 m2.

The investment will also double Harju Elekter factory revenues and will increase team from 241 to 350. Harju Elekter provides detail engineering, contract manufacturing and full load testing services for biggest marine and industrial system integrators. Harju Elekter UAB main competences are liquid-cooled multidrive systems and switchgear, the factory has DNV GL and RINA Manufacturing Survey Arrangements (MSA) for in house marine class society certification.
