Statement by the Press Secretary H.R. 2715
On Friday, August 12, 2011, the President signed into law:
H.R. 2715, which makes changes to current consumer product safety standards, including to provide the Consumer Product Safety Commission with greater authority and discretion to implement current law without overburdening certain manufacturers.
