SALINAS, CA /EINPresswire.com/ - August 2, 2011 -- A San Luis Obispo County political consultant has been charged with plagiarizing the content of another consultant's website and reproducing "word-for-word" the services of the competing consultant as his own. The consultant, Cory Black of Public Policy Solutions, Inc., is guilty of "plagiarism and downright theft, pure and simple," said Andrew Russo of Monterey County-based Paramount Communications, a firm with a long history of involvement in San Luis Obispo County politics.

"Black 'cut and pasted' the 'Campaign Services' section of our website which has been up since 2008 and placed it on his own website and used that content to garner clients at Paramount's expense. This kind of behavior is totally reprehensible and beneath contempt. It shows everyone - from clients to vendors - the true nature and character of Mr. Black and his firm." Russo noted that within hours of first exposing Black's theft, he immediately moved to remove that section of text from his website."What better admission of guilt do you need?"
