MITC offers Microsoft to open an office in Uzbekistan
UZBEKISTAN, April 18 - Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov held a virtual meeting with Microsoft representatives
According to the Ministry’s Press Service, representatives of the American – Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States also took part in the talks.
The parties discussed the current and promising areas of cooperation. In particular, serious attention was paid to the development of IT education. The issues of more active involvement of young people in the process of training qualified personnel were considered. The Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications offered to open a Microsoft development office in Uzbekistan.
The parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation and continue work on the implementation of joint projects.
