An Open Letter to Senate Speaker Dean Skelos
From the United Religious and Family Organization
/EINPresswire.com/ New York - June 22, 2011 -- First, I would like to thank you for all the great work you do for the State of New York. Now, we beg of you to focus on pressing issues such as the failing economy, etc. Why should the Redefinition of Marriage, for 2% of the population be put on the Senate floor again?
In the midst of fast and prayer, we plead to G-d that you withstand the pressure of Mayor Bloomberg and other wealthy and talented gay propaganda-specialists. If you believe that it should be voted upon, put it up for referendum for the public to vote upon. Remember the havoc caused by minority groups pushing their agenda on the masses (Communism, Nazism).
As for religious exemption; why only exempt clergy and not every religious small business owner. This type of religious exemption only increases religious persecution; the clergy will be called hateful people.
As for furthering civil rights, should not every parent have the right to protect their children from addictive and dangerous movements? Innocent children are denied government regulation of the Internet. Must they also be denied an education to protect them from disaster? Should not the rights of the majority who believe in G-d come first? We plead that you stop this religious persecution (which in San Francisco has led to the threat of a ban on circumcision, which the Bible requires to minimize temptation for immorality).
Please stay strong and strengthen others and know that similar laws have caused the Great Flood and other calamities. Do not let this bill out of committee to be voted upon by politicians with twisted motives. Rather, let the public vote.
Know that the world's future depends on you and that religious people are following Mike Long's directive never to vote for any Republican who votes for this bill, even with a phony religious exemption.
Sincerely,
Isaac Caller
