CPAC 2011 Cruise to Alaska Adds Two Speakers

Lew Uhler and Ralph Reed Join Cruisers

/EINPresswire.com/ Washington, D.C. - June 7, 2011 -- The CPAC Cruise announced today that Lew Uhler, a primary speaker on the Tea Party Express bus tours and Founder and President of the National Tax Limitation Committee, and Ralph Reed, former executive director of the Christian Coalition and head of the College Republicans during the Reagan re-election, will be joining the CPAC Cruise to Alaska this August 27 to September 3.

Lew Uhler has been a recognized expert in political policy since the 1960s. He was appointed by then-Governor Ronald Reagan to the California Law Revision Commission and became State Director of the Office of Economic Opportunity. In 1990 Uhler co-authored Proposition 140, California's pioneering state term limit initiative, and continues to serve as the founder of one of the Nation's leading grassroots taxpayer lobbies. Uhler authored Setting Limits: Constitutional Control of Government and with Erick Erickson of redstate.com co-authored Red State Rising, How to Take Back America, which he will be signing at the CPAC Author's Reception on the cruise.
"Lew Uhler is a Tea Party favorite invited to speak at rallies across the country, including headliner for the Tea Party Express bus tours in 2009-2010. He's a savvy speaker who will represent us well as Tea Partiers and conservatives and will help to strategize about where we agree and how we can help our country," said Dustin Stockton, media director of TheTeaParty.net.

Donna Wiesner Keene, Washington Liaison of www.TheTeaParty.net, said, "In 1984, I was asked by the Director of Volunteers of the Reagan Bush Reelection Campaign to help Ralph Reed, the head of the College Republicans at the Republican National Committee. I joined the Reagan Administration; he became head of the Christian Coalition and remains a great advocate for Christian conservatives. Ralph will be great fun as he hosts a table at dinner with cruisers each night of our cruise… his stories are amazing."

Other CPAC Cruise speakers include former Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida and Chairman of the American Conservative Union, Al Cardenas; former Secretary of Defense and Congressman, Donald Rumsfeld; President of the National Rifle Association and Vice-Chairman of CPAC, David A. Keene; and President of Americans for Tax Reform, Grover Norquist.

CPAC Cruise co-sponsors include TheTeaParty.net, The Washington Times, the American Conservative Union, and Americans for Tax Reform. Bios of the speakers and registration information can be found on CPAC 2011 Alaska Cruise.
