At a Creative Break in Aarhus, Denmark, Vestas Technology R&D’s experts were joined by virtual reality company Virtalis in presenting how Vestas could derive value from augmented reality technology.

Vestas has been using virtual reality technology for some years now, but augmented reality technology is a step further, putting virtual data onto real world situations, which can be seen using special equipment.

This technology offers a real science-fiction experience in how we use data for turbine design, servicing and communication.
