The next downloadable content pack for SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED is speeding your way fast. The Speedhunters DLC is going to give you a whole new career path with new game modes, cars and tracks inspired by Speedhunters.com , one of the top car culture sites in the world.

The new Drag and Standing Mile modes feature nine new events each, with a twist: you only have the option of manual transmission! That means no traction control and you’ll have to use the new rev counter and gear indicator to max out your performance. Now you’ll really feel what it’s like to be in the driver’s seat!

In Drag races you battle for the fastest time over a quarter mile track, while in Standing Mile you’re aiming for the fastest speed on a mile-long track. You can do so in the content pack’s two new cars--Chris Rado’s World Racing Pro-FWD Reaper Scion tC and Koz’s Dodge Viper GTS by Twins Turbo--plus 12 specially tuned Speedhunters vehicles available to compete in all disciplines.

The SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED Speedhunters content pack will be available on May 17 for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Marketplace and -- eventually -- for $9.99 on the PlayStation Network.
