Washington DC—The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) Statistics and Assessment Program is offering a workshop entitled Basic Skills for Analyzing Library Service Quality Assessment Data. This workshop will provide basic skills for the quantitative analysis (both statistical and graphical) of library service quality assessment data. Prior to the workshop, the program will host a LibQUAL+® Share Fair at the same location. Registration to one or both events is welcome.

The Basic Skills workshop will cover the following topics:

Service Quality Assessment in the Context of the Modern Research Library
Are the Data Trustworthy?: Score Reliability
Some Statistical and Graphical Score Interpretation Frameworks
Some Basic Statistical and Graphical Tools in Software

The LibQUAL+® Share Fair is a free, informal, science-fair style gathering featuring brief presentations/poster sessions by current and past LibQUAL+® survey participants highlighting examples of quantitative and qualitative analysis available from survey results and marketing ideas. The Share Fair also offers a great opportunity to learn about other institutions' overall LibQUAL+® experience. The event is open to all past, current, and potential LibQUAL+® participants. We are also currently accepting entries for presentations at the Share Fair.
