Datapipe Purchases 100 Percent Renewable Energy

Datapipe, a provider of managed services and infrastructure for IT and cloud computing, has increased its green power purchases 6-fold from last year to nearly 56 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually, the equivalent of 100 percent of its total purchased electricity use for its San Jose and New Jersey data centers.

The company's green initiatives go beyond green power and through using strategic energy-efficient technologies, it has also trimmed 90 percent of the energy used in the data centers.
