This spring, Starbucks pays tribute to connections that have been formed over the past four decades and looks forward to inspiring new ones.
To celebrate Starbucks 40th Anniversary, we are introducing four new offerings as a testament to the core of what we do best – premium handcrafted espresso and exceptional coffee and food offerings worthy of sharing. On March 8, 2011, Cocoa Cappuccino, Starbucks Petites, Starbucks Tribute Blend™ and Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew™ Tribute Blend™ will be available in participating stores globally, inspiring the next generation of world-wide connections.

This artfully prepared handcrafted delicacy illustrates Starbucks commitment to making certain that each cup and every moment is perfect. Enjoyed hot or over ice, Cocoa Cappuccino features fresh, caramelly espresso, bittersweet mocha sauce, steamed milk and a thick layer of silky foam, offering the perfect balance between the bold flavor of espresso and the rich sweetness of mocha.

As a tribute to customers, partners and the accomplishments of coffee farmers and roasters over the past 40 years, we developed Starbucks Tribute Blend™, an unexpected blend of four different beans – aged Sumatra, sun?dried Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, and Colombia. In this special blend, coffees from three coffee growing regions are present and for the first time, using three different coffee processing methods. The beans were combined after roasting to capture the best flavor notes from each variety.
The spice and earthiness of aged Sumatra and berry and dark cherry notes of sun-dried Ethiopia perfectly complement the nutty and balanced flavors of Papua New Guinea and Columbia beans. With a unique complexity achieved only by artful blending, Tribute Blend™ is a perfect pairing for both sweet and spicy treats.
