Statement by the Press Secretary on H.R. 514
On Friday, February 25, 2011, the President signed into law:
H.R. 514, the “FISA Sunsets Extension Act of 2011,” which extends certain surveillance authorities included in the USA PATRIOT Act and the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004.
