Walking for Justice from a Global Company

November 19, 2010 - New York, New York -- On December 1, 2010, Mark Heslehurst will fly from the UK to the US to begin his Walk-The-Walk journey from Ground Zero. The Walk begins concludes at his final destination of bioMerieux's (U.S.) Durham, NC facility. Mark's Walk-The-Walk is scheduled to take 15 days. Mark is seeking a peaceful resolution to a 10-year nightmare with bioMerieux, a French company with World Headquarters in Lyon, France, and facilities, in the United States.

The items in dispute include but are not limited to: corporate abuse, broken contracts, harassment, serious personal threats, and blackmail, all resulting in a broken marriage and loss of Mr. Heslehurst's son, who now resides with his mother in Cambodia, where she fled in fear of retaliation by bioMerieux. Mark's former wife and son are today in Cambodia - refugees.

International support has been growing via social networking and external websites, and Mark now has a ground-swell of thousands of active concerned citizens throughout the world - the majority living in the United States where he will be walking.

To cement numerous official documents of proof, Mark has just undergone a polygraph test by the leading examiner in Europe. The polygraph's rigor and results have also now been ratified by the world's leading polygraph expert and Chairman of the American Polygraph Association. Mark achieved the highest possible score regarding the accuracy for responses to questions asked.

Andrew Sullivan, Union Leader and Founder of the 911 Hard Hat Pledge, will be with Mark at Ground Zero as he pays his respects to all who perished, including many UK citizens. Mark will read a short prepared statement and sign the 911 Hard Hat Pledge (www.911hardhatpledge.com) in support of Andrew Sullivan's organization. Andrew will also sign Mark's petition and give professional help in supporting Mark's walk to be reunited with his son, Edward.

Donations are coming via the walk website (www.walk-the-walk.com), and there are many who have volunteered to walk some (or all) of the walk with Mark. People have also volunteered to drive the entire trip and supply necessary food, water, medical supplies and hotel rooms for Mark.

Arriving at Durham, NC - bioMerieux's US's headquarters from where the final communication came that separated Mark's family - will signal the end of Mark' walk...and the beginning of an organized protest. Mark's walk and protest are designed to create worldwide awareness of this family's agonizing plight. Many have pledged to stand in support for a peaceful resolution.

BioMerieux has admitted fault, but to date has been unresponsive despite numerous contacts. Mark Heslehurst seeks to be reunited with his son.
