New nonfiction book dissects tie between brainwaves, paranormal activity
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (MMD Newswire) August 16, 2010 -- Matter to Mind to Consciousness: Anatomy of the E.L.F. by T. Lee Baumann, M.D., intends to explore and explain the possible links between human consciousness, the paranormal and science. "Previous books seem to only speculate on possible explanations for human conscious thought," says Baumann. "This book offers the results of experimentation by a medical doctor."
In Matter to Mind to Consciousness, Baumann, a doctor in internal medicine and an expert on quantum spirituality, first educates readers on the functions of the brain and neuroanatomy. He then shares his findings with brain radio waves in the E.L.F. (extremely low frequency) range that could possibly explain mental telepathy, conscious thought, dreams, déjà vu, mental illness and near-death experiences. "I then explain the latest medical technologies and how medical advances reveal that our infinitesimally weak brainwave activity does travel into space and can survive traversing the globe many times over before dying out," he says. "I suggest that the brainwave activity of all humankind - even God and dead spirits - is accessible to everyone."
Matter to Mind to Consciousness is a follow-up to Baumann's God at the Speed of Light: The Melding of Science and Spirituality, which investigates near-death experiences and the quantum physics of physical light being omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent and conscious.
Matter to Mind to Consciousness: Anatomy of the E.L.F. is available for sale online at Amazon.com and other channels.
