Masterseek Stocks Rocket
By Tim B. Sullivan
Masterseek's global B2B search engine has doubled in value over the past two months.
September 3, 2010 (MMD Newswire) -- A test panel has had the opportunity to try out the new search function prior to its 25 September release. Many of the panel's experts conclude that the new search function is one of the best business searches on the market, and the website is now valued at nearly $ 300 Million.
The Masterseek B2B search engine company has still yet to prove that it can actually turn a real profit - but that has not stopped the market from assessing Masterseek's value at new heights as its user numbers rise steeply. According to financial experts, Masterseek is now worth approximately $ 275 Million, the equivalent of $9 per share. Masterseek Corporation has not yet gone public, and its CEO, founder, and part-owner Rasmus Refer has indicated previously that he is in no hurry to place Masterseek on the stock exchange. The website continues to grow and now contains over 82 million updated business profiles. Nevertheless, even though Masterseek strives to be the king of B2B searching, the company has failed to attract a sufficiently high advertising price, thus denying it a proportionately large source of income.
There are signs, however, that Masterseek will soon begin capitalising on its high user numbers. The brand new Masterseek Iphone app is expected to further boost the corporation's position in the fast-growing market for B2B searches. The new Iphone app has thus far been launched in English and Chinese.
