New fantasy fiction explores parallel worlds
FRUITPORT, Mich. (MMD Newswire) September 13, 2010 -- Chronicles of the Nassidesa: Liadaya First on a Thousand Worlds by Laura Eschbaugh is a story of an alternate universe and the chosen people that are trying to undo their mistakes while surviving.
Chronicles of the Nassidesa presents a world in which God decides to let others influence creation. He has chosen 27 people whose actions, personalities and relationships have influenced alternate worlds; they are called the Nassidesa. The Nassidesa are the children of space explorers lured to a new universe where they serve as blueprints for the entire universe. Their development is used to lay the blueprints for additional worlds within the universe. Chronicles of the Nassidesa follows Liadaya, one of the Nassidesa, as she travels to the worlds that were created based on her actions and personality.
Liadaya's journey is presented as a true adventure that leads her through unforeseen obstacles as she attempts to give the Nassidesa freedom in order to choose their own destinies. Chronicles of the Nassidesa aims to revolve around the theme of dictatorship and the effects of outside forces controlling people's actions. With Liadaya, Eschbaugh hopes to express that there are always choices in what people do and how they do it. Chronicles of the Nassidesa presents a scenario in which a woman is able to travel to the past, revisit the choices that influenced major actions, and discover the truth behind her life's path. Eschbaugh intends for Chronicles of the Nassidesa: Liadaya First on a Thousand Worlds to be the first in a series of books following all of the Nassidesa.
