FirstAlert(tm) Digest 9/1/10: Higher Highs Ahead For Newmont Mining

- Technical Market Commentary -

September 1, 2010 (FinancialWire) (By Frank Kollar) (Go to http://www.financialwire.net/?s=cmmtry for all recent commentaries.) — Shares of Newmont Mining Corp. (NYSE: NEM) are closing-in on their all-time high of $61.93, reached back on July 9 of this year.

On Monday, August 30, Newmont closed above an important resistance level, at $59.91, setting up the run for new highs.

With bullion in rally mode it looks like a breakout is in the cards for this widely traded mining stock.

If Newmont Mining does break out to new closing highs, the initial target for the advance is at $65.84. If surpassed the target will be $68.99. That target is 12.5% above the August 31 close.

Don’t allow Wall Street to manage your company. Know who’s holding, buying and selling your company’s stock.  Don’t “fly blind.” Know who’s buying your competitors’ stock.  Don’t miss opportunities. The publicly-traded market offers great potential rewards, but those rewards don’t come easily.  Today’s market landscape is tougher to navigate than ever before − and it’s simply a fact that numerous companies do not survive. That fact is even more true for lesser-capitalized and development-stage public companies. The ShareIntel(r) program provides concrete, actionable solutions that give such companies an immediate and formidable competitive advantage. Without liquidity and a properly-valued, protected share price, a public company is enjoying none of the benefits of being a public company while still having to do all the work of being a public company. That’s the bottom line:  Liquidity.  And a properly-valued, protected share price. ShareIntel(r) suite of solutions gives a public company what it needs to accomplish those key objectives − and to thrive, instead of just survive.
