Juhl Wind to Build Community Wind Energy Project
Aug. 12, 2010 -- Juhl Wind will build a $10 million wind project for Gundersen Lutheran Hospital. The 5 megawatt-sized project will be a community-owned and operated energy generation facility.
The GL Wind project will be located in Southeast Minnesota. Juhl is forecasting that the GL Wind Farm is planned to begin construction in the fourth quarter of 2010 and should be completed in 2011.
Gundersen Lutheran Hospital, located in La Crosse, Wis., is a leading teaching hospital consistently named among the top 100 in the nation and serves patients located throughout western Wisconsin, northeast Iowa and southeastern Minnesota.
