(AMEX: SIHI), a Chinese electronics, said it has named Daniel Lui to the company's board of directors. Lui has filled the vacancy created by the resignation of Robert S. Torino from the board effective July 9. Lui will also replace Torino as chairman of SinoHub's audit committee.

Lui is currently the CEO of Porcheers Consultants Ltd., a strategic management consulting company focused on internal systems and controls, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate planning and investments.

Previously, Lui was the director and chief financial officer of China Digital Media Corp. (OTCBB: CDGT), where he assisted in taking the company public in the U.S., and in establishing and implementing the accounting and financial systems and internal controls necessary to comply with the U.S. listing requirements.

California-based SinoHub was founded in 2000 by entrepreneur Harry Cochran and electronics industry veteran Lei Xia to play a part in the electronics industry in China.
