(TSX: GND) (OTC: GNUMF) said that it has expanded its global sales network with the addition of CoreEL Technologies, a technical sales representative in India. Bangalore-based CoreEL will provide local sales and technical support for Gennum's line of analog, mixed-signal and optical IC products, including the company's signal integrity solutions for video broadcast, networking, storage, telecommunications and high performance computing.
Klaus Mueller, vice president of global sales for Gennum, said, "India represents a critical growth region for Gennum as demand for 3DTV content climbs and data centers begin their transition to higher bandwidth standards such as 40- and 100-Gigabit Ethernet.
