June 18, 2010 (FinancialWire) — The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAIN), a natural and organic products company, has acquired Churchill Food Products Ltd., a manufacturer and distributor of food-to-go products in the United Kingdom. Churchill's production is expected by Hain to complement the firm’s existing Daily Bread brand.
The company said it completed this acquisition as part of its plan to return to profitability in the United Kingdom, which it expects will occur in fiscal year 2011.
Terms of the acquisition, which closed on June 15, were not disclosed.
